Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears dark leathers with embroidery. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy white hair. His eyes are hazel and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Raer is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: He comes from a rich western family. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Engraver. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Engraver for hire.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has never given up on her singing dream.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and wants to work out more often

Description: This dark-skinned female does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. She is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her half smiles and hazel eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Phann embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: Born in the north to a Adventurer, Phann learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her psionic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Adventurer for hire.

Motivation: Further expansion of business.

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking southern young adult. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. He sports a flattop hair cut. His skin is flawless and his amber eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Animal Trainer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Animal Trainer work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
