History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Duergath alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born into a rich family. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She uses divination through singing.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Ulla was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it; and someone believes her a fraud
