The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Direcris took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up quarterstaff and armor he uses now. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: Purson was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Baggi was born with her father's beautiful face. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. In the meantime she has taken over work as a Blacksmith and occasionally as a mercenary.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Vorka took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up bastard sword and armor she uses now. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Masseuse. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. After a long history of fighting, Sethrekar and his spouse have recently divorced.
