Description: Her left side is far more bruised and cut up than her other. She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her hair is short and black. Her gray eyes peer out from beneath her feathered blue hat.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Pyntle's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Pyntle took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up lance and armor she uses now. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

Description: A 4'4" northern man, he wears tattered old clothes. He has styled his brown hair well, parting it to the left. He has hazel eyes.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Born to a Carter, his father struggled to pay the bills. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: This late middle aged woman is dressed in a clean blue cloak covering her clean studded leather and is in decent physical shape. Her hair is chestnut, silky, and of moderate length. She has several tiny sapphire earrings on each ear.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Layabout business.

History: Panana was born with her mother's beautiful face. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and sabotage a competitor

Description: He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'2" when asserting himself. He keeps his golden hair in a flapper bob. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep green.

Personality: He hates orcs. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Roland grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Roland. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

Description: A stocky lighter skinned woman, she wears a brown costume with the symbols of the sun god on her torso. She has moderate length blonde hair. Her amber eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature falchion.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends.
