Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Adrex was born on a far southern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Bather. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 5'8" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). She has wavy beige fur. Her eyes are amber and catlike.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: This man loves dancing and to teach people dancing more than just about anything. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He is greedy.
