History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Marastyr grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers; and doesn't want to be a mortician and was forced into it by her family

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Hirrathak will drive conversation. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Beggar. He has worked as a Beggar like his mother before him.

Motivation: To be a Merchant again; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born in a small plains village. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He's also a talented Doctor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Doctor again; and many brigands want him driven away
