History: Shadow lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Mortician. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shadow fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Knight hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Karg grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature nunchaku.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she has money and likes to spend it
