Description: He stands about 5'8" and wears a black costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso. His right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. His black hair is singed and shortened. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Melech wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Melech was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she is renowned for her bright tan dresses and hats. Her brown hair is heavily combed to the left. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. Symma is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the south. After coming to the age of reason, Symma took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and many dire rats want her driven away

Description: This southern man is abnormally tall. He dresses well, wearing pastel shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His orange fur is smooth and relatively long. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Locksmith but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gifted student he started as a Blacksmith, but he got bored and became a Locksmith. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To be a Blacksmith again.

Description: She wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. She carries with her a set of maces on her belt, each one with a ruby on the hilt. She sports a flattop hair cut. Her amber eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Dyer. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Ella is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she is wracked by social anxiety

Description: Her left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise she appears quite healthy. She wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized grey coat. She has wavy silver hair. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady violet eyes.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day.
