History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. History: She got into the Map Maker business at a young age. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and balancing her hectic life and new map maker responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Kava was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Engraver hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: She is witty, but her monotone delivery comes off as unnerving She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Avelina was born with her mother's beautiful face. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Elaim hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: Revenge; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
