History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
