History: Ulla lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Painter mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
