Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. His brown hair is lengthy. His eyes are likewise gray.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Ortegar is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He found a children's book about a Halfling Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered north to less war torn lands. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She takes great joy in being the best Scribe in town.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the south. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
