History: He comes from a rich eastern family. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
