History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Armorer arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Agnes is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
