History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Scribe. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. Veit is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.
