Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Bookbinder business.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Bookbinder arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Bookbinder. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 14 years.

History: Zanna lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Ellyjoybell was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone.
