Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is an amazing painter.

History: Fragrant was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: Nala was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature mace.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and to unite with her sister

History: He comes from a rich southern family. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Roofer. He's also a talented Interpreter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Brug wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Commoner, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He takes great joy in being the best Adventurer in town.

History: He was born in the east. A freak accident while working with his Armorer father left him crippled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Adventurer responsibilities is difficult; and he has money and likes to spend it
