Nogu grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: This woman stands a little under 3'3" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She wears a tan shirt with thin white vertical stripes and brown pants. She has dyed her greying black hair a little too much giving a sharp black color. She has a dull look in her violet eyes.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She disdains her fellow easterners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When Unvera reached her early adolescence her Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 5 years.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. Through the years after Lance was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Lance's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Lance and his spouse have recently divorced.
