History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. After coming to the age of reason, Chad took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears tan robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a spear, but if one is not available he will default to his sai. His deerstalker hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Rimple's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Rimple was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Rimple alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Rimple was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Ilga lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Junk Dealer. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
