History: Gale hails from a village terrorized by orcs. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered orcs who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many orcs want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Balimaar grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature club.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
