History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. A freak accident while working with her Unemployed mother left her crippled. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Left-Handed grew up listening to her mother's many stories. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the south were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born in the west to a Unemployed, Erdan learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When Erdan reached his early adolescence his Half-Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Unemployed.
