Description: A middle-aged man, he typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep violet leather and dull black iron scale mail, and is pretty ugly. His broad hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His amber eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Bookbinder mother left him crippled. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and tan, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He keeps his long silver hair kept up in a rat tail. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines brown.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes drow are coming to abduct people. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He wants revenge against drow; and regain custody of his daughter

Description: With red face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears black painted combat armor at almost all times. His hair is long and black with streaks of blonde, and is pulled back with small black clips. His beard is blonde, braided, and well cared for. He has violet eyes.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Orcs became a terror of the countryside. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and money/treasure

Description: She wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with black lining and desert motifs. She is physically well-built. She has moderate length chestnut hair. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. In her youth she was a Priest, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger brother on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She bought a longsword and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Description: He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty violet coat over it, and he perpetually has his spear ready. He keeps his silver hair in a flapper bob. His hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When Theodoric reached his early adolescence his Half-Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Theodoric fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
