Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born into a rich family. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gifted student he started as a Roofer, but he got bored and became a Spice Merchant. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Spice Merchant.
