Personality: He is a Crown-heir first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Kaladan was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Crown-heir. He now owns his own business.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Her brown hair is matted, messy, and big. Her violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She is obsessed with her god.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Mella and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
