History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When Helen reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Nim's homeland. Nim decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She got into the Architect business at a young age. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
