History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Eberdeb abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and doesn't want to be a apothecary and was forced into it by his family

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing music.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She now mingles about in high society.
