History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When Ortegar reached his early adolescence his Halfling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Detective they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Locksmith, and he later adopted a second son.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered north to less war torn lands. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Cartwright mother left him crippled. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
