History: Faran was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She found a children's book about a Gnome Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She now owns her own business.

History: He was born into a rich family. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 5'6" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She wears a green tunic with black highlights, and long violet pants that bunch up around her shoes. She sports a flattop hair cut. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines silver.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She works hard and plays hard.

History: Makaria was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She is obsessed with her god.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. After a long history of fighting, Sorath and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and her religion dominates her actions
