History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Tawna was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Tawna's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Tawna was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears bulky black painted plate armor, and is pretty ugly. Her black hair is singed and shortened. Her gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when she was still a young child. The gnolls captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it

Description: This woman is tall and muscular. She is wearing a tight red one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. Her top hat is riddled with cuts and holes. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Gynnie speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Gynnie alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When Ethereal reached his early adolescence his Tabaxi father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
