Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born in the west to a Spice Merchant, Volen learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: To be a Glassblower again; and she has money and likes to spend it

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. After months of barely getting by, Donella managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His childhood dream was to be a Painter, but he was a colossal failure. He has worked as a Bricklayer like his mother before him.
