History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Wella was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. At some point he was captured by brigands and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Description: This exceptionally lanky woman dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over her head. Her blue crest is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She was born in a small plains village. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Gerald will drive conversation. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Detective profession.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sage. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing his hectic life and new sage responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Ildrex speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born into a rich family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
