History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Bowyer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Quelenna was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: To unite with her sister; and doesn't want to be a layabout and was forced into it by her family

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Chem grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Chem. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and money/treasure
