She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Marshal and was forced into it by his family; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: This northern man is abnormally tall. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep violet leather and dull brown iron scale mail. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He has wavy silver hair. He is baby faced.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: Modean wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Monk, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. His childhood dream was to be a Navigator, but he was a colossal failure. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Personality: She is a Gardener first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Artin lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Artin was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and wants to open a new tavern
