Through the years after Joan was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Joan's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother

History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing her hectic life and new engraver responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Osah grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Osah. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac
