Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Sindri was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Sindri decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Halfling companion (her 'brother'). She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Scribe. He tends to his Scribe job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Merla was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When Merla reached her early adolescence her Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
