History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.
