Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Halfling, and stands approximately 2'10". He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times, and his gloved hand is found clutching a halberd. He keeps his black hair in a pixie cut. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Stableman born in the past three hundred years. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ortegar grew up listening to his mother's many stories. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and obtaining odd cultural elven artifacts is his passion

Description: This eastern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She wears pastel robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a scimitar, but if one is not available she will default to her shield. Her white fur is greasy and uncared for. Her green eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

Description: She is dressed in a clean brown cloak covering her clean studded leather. Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her pickaxe, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. She has dyed her greying black fur a little too much giving a sharp black color. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Shivering was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She took after her father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her father taught her to defend herself. When her father died while fighting dire rats, the young Shivering began to lead the lost caravan. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Pelt was born the youngest of three triplets. His first spouse was a Brewer, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Jeweler arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and money/treasure
