Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Through the years after Bertram was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Bertram's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Sariel was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A gifted student she started as a Shoemaker, but she got bored and became a Ploughman. She has achieved small success as a Ploughman.

Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. Her hair is black and very short. This violet eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: This late middle aged woman is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time and is in decent physical shape. She is bald on top and has large golden tufts of hair around her ears. Her eyes are brown.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
