History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Emerald has worked very hard to control her curse. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Maynild was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.
