History: Gruk was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Cleric, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Cleric in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: The child of a Doctor, who enjoyed hunting, Lavinia was taken on many hunting expeditions. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Lavinia alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she desires power and/or immortality

History: Dabbledob lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He is mildly Elf supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He takes great joy in being the best Bather in town.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. He worked as a nervous Bather and found it very stressful. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.
