History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and her religion dominates her actions

Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Alain is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Alain was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above herself and to hold her god always in her heart. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
