History: Gale hails from a village terrorized by giants. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her mother's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered giants who tried to eat her hand. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it
