History: Gynk was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: She is a Lamia in disguise. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Weaver. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Wants her loneliness to end.

History: Torinn was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
