When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born in a small forest village. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Born to a Dyer, his father struggled to pay the bills. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the south were limited. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Description: An older man who wears bulky tan painted plate armor, he is not a threatening figure. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Fonkin hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying east to reunite his family. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands.

Description: This malnourished man does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His eyes are likewise green. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. A true patriot, Peter would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.
