Personality: She hates Half-Elves with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: Meriele hails from a village terrorized by illithids. At some point she was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. Balifra is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Balifra took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up morningstar and armor she uses now. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
