He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). During his travels, Gorbundus and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Gorbundus discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Gorbundus fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. In her 18th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and she has money and likes to spend it

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hammer.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. She is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Silaqui was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Beggar hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
