Description: Standing 3'6", this man is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His white hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. His half smiles and blue eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Oppleby isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Oppleby lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Oppleby grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Oppleby. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Traki was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Traki decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Description: This dark-skinned male usually wears his black robe and has his quarterstaff always slung over his shoulder. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His brown hair is lengthy. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: The child of a Spice Merchant, who enjoyed hunting, Grom was taken on many hunting expeditions. Grom liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Sailor responsibilities is difficult; and to be a spice merchant again

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized green coat. His black hair is thinning but still full. He has red eyes and a green hat with a brown feather.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Xappan was born the youngest of three triplets. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bowyer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Bather, and he later adopted a second daughter.
