History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Barendd was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Through the years after Myathethil was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Myathethil's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She now mingles about in high society.
