History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A freak accident while working with her Herbalist father left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: He was born in the west. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many brigands want him driven away
