Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Kaladan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: He stands about 2'11" and wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a red coat. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. His hair is cut close to his head. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are amber.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Burto alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Burto was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Description: He wears a fancy brown suit. He carries with him a set of greataxes, each one with a jet on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He has done his best to style his black hair to look like a famous performer. His brown eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Elven culture. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Morkral has worked very hard to control his curse. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Morkral fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Elven compassion; and a strong sense of loyalty to elven people

Description: 5'8" and muscular, this southern woman wears a black shirt with thin tan vertical stripes and brown pants. She has wavy silver hair. Her fierce green eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing writing.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions.

Description: He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'8" when asserting himself. His fur is lavender and curly. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.
